Elliott's birth was more fulfilling and perfect than I could have ever dreamt. I promised myself I would record his birth story by the time he turned 6 months old. This has been important to me because I knew the memories would fade over time, and I wanted to make sure I didn't lose them before that happened.
I mainly wrote the very long story for myself (and Elliott if he wants to read it when he gets older), but I love reading other women's labor and birth stories, so I thought I'd share it for those who also like hearing others' experiences.
