Fun in the Cold, Cold Water
Maybe a Little Too Cold!
That Sunday, we went over to Sam's house for a play date, and he had a cool new pool. Sam was splashing and swimming and dunking and having a grand old time! Elliott wanted absolutely nothing to do with the pool, nothing at all.
Knowing Elliott though, we assumed it would probably just take him a little while to investigate and warm up to it. So inspired by Sam's new pool, we were off to buy our own the very next day. At first he would only put his hands in it. Then I was able to convince him to stand in it, if he could take the hose in with him (I just turned it on a trickle). After quite a long time, he decided he was ready to squat in the pool. Then slowly but surely he finally sat all the way in the pool - success!

so cute! we're having water fun at B's bday party! speaking of pools, where did you get that one? we want a preformed one and have yet to go get it yet.
