The Crib

As a recent blog entry noted, Elliott is on the move! This includes him finally starting to roll over. Although he rolled over a few times around 4 1/2 mths, he decided he was not interested in it after all, and didn't roll over again until last week. Now he rolls over like he's been doing it forever. This and his quickly advancing scooting ability meant we needed to rethink his sleeping arrangement, fast.

Elliott has been co-sleeping with us and napping in our bed since he was born. We wanted to continue co-sleeping, but since we have a high bed over hardwood floors, it wasn't safe for him to be in our bed alone anymore. We decided Elliott would continue to sleep with us at night, but it was time to finally introduce him to his crib! I am happy to report he loves it, and he looks so sweet sleeping in it. I love to check in and look at him under his little blanket and managed to get a photo to document his cuteness.
