Elliott got to participate in not one but TWO Easter egg hunts this year! His first Easter egg hunt took place the day before Easter at the house of one of my Aunt Gail's friends in Danville. The house was amazing, and the view was absolutely spectacular. This is an annual event where the teenagers hide the eggs, and then the older kids search for eggs over the entire (huge) property while the little ones like Elliott search for eggs right around the house. This year Elliott was lucky enough to be the only little one, so he had the whole place to himself and racked up on eggs! Were were amazed at how fast he picked up on the whole process. That boy is an expert Easter egg hunter!

On Easter morning, Elliott woke to open his actual Easter basket filled with lots of musical instruments from NaNa and a few pieces of candy from Mama. Then Isabel and Sam joined us for our second Easter egg hunt, which I set up in the backyard. These eggs were filled with a bit of candy, but mostly little plastic farm animals that are now Elliott's very favorite toys. I think next year the boys will have lots of fun racing to see who can get to the eggs first, but for now Sam was mostly interested in the exciting grass in his basket, and I don't even think Elliott noticed Sam was there. It will be so fun when they actually start interacting together more soon!
